A former official of the United Pentecostal Church International has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor sexual misconduct charge. The Reverend Ronald Nation pleaded guilty in St. Charles County Circuit Court. He has been sentenced to two years’ probation. Nation, who is from St. Peters, was one of 11 men arrested at a park along the Missouri River for propositioning male undercover officers. He was suspended from his position as Sunday School director of the denomination after the charges became public. The denomination is headquartered in Hazelwood.
