Nebraska wanted to stop Arthur Johnson and his inside presence. Fortunately for the Missouri Tigers, that effort resulted in a lot of solitude for Mizzou’s sharp shooters. The Tigers hit 13 of 36 three pointers on Tuesday to top the Huskers 67-50 at the Hearnes Center. Ricky Clemons hit six of them, and lead the way with 20 points. Johnson was 5-11 shooting for 10 points but grabbed just three rebounds. Freshman Jimmy McKinney picked up some of that slack with eight rebounds, nine points and eight assists. Rickey Paulding scored 11 and crossed the 1,000-point threshold for his Mizzou career. The Tigers are 16-6 overall and 7-4 in the Big 12. They face Colorado in Boulder on Saturday.
