We have a bear recall in Missouri. Overland-based Build-A-Bear Workshop is recalling about 80,000 of its stuffed teddy bears. The bear is the one called “Founding Bear.” It’s plastic nose can be pulled off or twisted off and that’s a choking hazard for little children. The federal Consumer Products Safety Commission says parents should get the bears away from kids and take them back to the stores for replacements, or for other merchandise. The bears are made in China. Build-A-Bear Workshop removed as many of the defective toys from store shelves as it could in early December.
