A closer examination of a plane crash that killed six people in Branson three years ago produces a scathing evalution of the Federal Aviation Adminsitration. The report from the federal Transportation Department says two FAA officials harassed the pilot, contributing to the crash that killed him and five other people. Congressman Roy Blunt had demanded the investigation after complaints from the widow of pilot Joe Brinell. Widow Grace Brinell calls the report “damning” for the FAA. Blunt says the penalties proposed for the two FAA officials are inadequate. He wants them fired.
