Officials from two state departments – Labor and Economic Development – are joining forces to help out-of-work Missourians file for unemployment benefits, on-line, and to conduct job searches on-line, as well. Rick Beasley, Director of Economic Development’s Division of Workforce Development, says filing for benefits and hooking up to the Auto-Match System can be done from the comfort of home. By filing on-line and connecting to the Auto-Match System, unemployed citizens can list their qualifications and the type of work being sought and allow the System to find a match from openings that have been reported.
