The Blues suffered two losses on Sunday. They fell to the Ducks 2-1 at the Pond. Both of Anaheim’s goals came in the third period off Brent Johnson. In the second period, Pavol Demitra scored his 15th goal of the season. The defeat kept them from joining Detroit atop the Central Division standings. But the biggest heartbreak came in the second period when forward Petr Cajanek broke his leg in an un-penalized play. Cajanek, who’s a rookie, has seven goals and 23 assists. He’s expected to miss 4-6 weeks. The Blues will finish their five-game road trip on Tuesday in Phoenix. They’re 2-2 on the trip.
