This is the time of year when we start to see the flu season really take hold. The State Health Department’s influenza coordinator, Libby Landrum, says the first three months of the season have produced about 75 confirmed cases. She says the flu usually lasts about a week, although some after effects might hang on a week longer. Landrum says doctors should be consulted if people have trouble breathing.
