The SMS Lady Bears’ defense kept them in the game early, but a lack of offense ended their hope of a Top 10 upset later in the game. SMS fell to 9th ranked Arkansas 64-46 in Fayetteville. The Lady Bears trailed 21-20 at the half and were down by five with 13:37 to go, but the Lady Backs went on a 12-2 run to put the game away. SMS fell to 3-4 on the season. They host Oregon St. tonight.
