The new head of the FBI office in St. Louis says the focus of the office is shifting away from traditional law enforcement and more toward gathering intelligence. The new agent in charge is Thomas E. Bush III, who tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that he and other agents are working to shift from working on white-collar crimes and drug cases, among others, to preventing terrorism.
