At the KMOX shootout in St. Louis a couple of future Missouri Tigers squared off. Both had 18 points, but the score wasn’t close. Spencer Laurie and Springfield Kickapoo got the best of Thomas Gardner and Portland, Oregon’s Jefferson High 77-61. Laurie will play for Mizzou as a walk-on and Gardner has signed a letter of intent as a scholarship player.
