Michael Watson continues to lead the nation in scoring, but UMKC is still winless. Watson had a game-high 33 as the ‘Roos fell to Denver 83-66. James Williams added 16 points, but no one else on the UMKC squad had more than eight. Watson’s averaging 31 points per game. The ‘Roos played tough in the second half, but their 16-point deficit at half time proved to be too much for Rich Zvosek’s team to overcome. With the loss, UMKC is 0-3 on the season.
