Former NFL running back Jason Brookins was arrested early Tuesday morning in a drug raid in Mexico, Missouri. Brookins and 23 others were arrested. He is charged with selling marijuana. Brookins rushed for 551 yards and 5 touchdowns with the Ravens last season. His contract was rescinded and he signed with the Packers in the off-season. Brookins left training camp after team officials asked for his playbook back, assuming he had been cut. They just wanted to update it. After failed attempts to let him know he still had a job, the Packers cut Brookins. He was a football star at Mexico High School before going to Lane College in Tennessee.
