The last President of the Frisco Railroad has died at the age of 81 – Richard Grayson Senior of St. Louis, who was President of the line from 1969 until it merged with Burlington Northern in 1980. His grandfather had been an engineer for the Frisco. Grayson, who was born in Cuba, Missouri, went to work as a brakeman for the railroad in 1941.
