The state’s struggles with a shortage of funds are far from over with more cuts in spending for programs and services likely in a matter of days or weeks. State Budget Director Linda Luebbering thinks things will get better, but not soon enough to do any good in the next seven months of this fiscal year. The latest budget shortfall is pegged at more than $100-Million, and she expects that figure to grow before the end of the fiscal year June 30th.
