Priest Holmes had 113 yards rushing and two touchdowns and Dante Hall returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown as the Chiefs topped the Cardinals 49-0. Hall’s special-teams TD set a Chiefs record and gave Kansas City a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. The offense didn’t stop there. Holmes, Tony Richardson and Tony Gonzalez all found their way to the end zone in the second quarter, to take a 35-0 halftime lead. Playing only three quarters, Trent Green was 14-20 passing with 257 yards and two touchdowns. The Chiefs defense frustrated the Cardinals passing attack with four interceptions.
