A strike at an automotive parts supplier has shut down production at a DaimlerChrysler plant in the St. Louis area. DaimlerChrysler suspended the production of minivans at Fenton for lack of parts. The company has shut down plants in Ohio as well in wake of the strike against Johnson Controls. Johnson Controls makes just-in-time supplies for automakers. It says it is working to resolve the labor dispute.
