Two Florida men have been sentenced to prison for operating medical testing labs in Liberty and elsewhere that bilked the federal government out of nearly $4-Million. Jay Roffman has been sentenced to more than two years in prison. Paul O’Brien has been sentenced to just under two years in prison. They have been ordered to pay $2-Million in restitution. Last fall, both pleaded guilty to using a defunct medical lab in Liberty to submit faudulent claims to Medicare.
