The Cardinals were held to just five hits last night as Jamie Moyer tossed a complete game shut out, giving the Mariners a 10-0 win. Ichiro Suzuki was 3-5, driving in two and scoring three times. Bud Smith got the start and the loss, dropping to 0-4 on the season….Cardinals center fielder Jim Edmonds is on the disabled list. He’s been dealing with a sprained wrist. His stint on the DL is retroactive to June 1, so he should be ready by this weekend, as the Royals come to town. So Taguchi will take his spot on the roster. Also, pitcher Rick Ankiel continues to suffer from stiffness in his elbow. Cardinal doctors will examine him on Friday.
