Family members of those who died while patients at Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia crowded a news conference called by the Boone County prosecutor to explain the recent break in the investigation intothose deaths. They still have questions, the primary one being why would then-nurse Richard Williams kill patients under his care. Prosecutor Kevin Crane isn’t disclosing a suspected motive. Williams denies he killed them.
