Liberty topped Vianney 4-3 in nine innings to win the 4A baseball title on Saturday. It was head coach John Stipetich’s 300th career win and Liberty’s first baseball title. In 3A, Platte County made it clear who the best team was, beating St. Mary’s (St. Louis) 19-1. The game was called after five innings.
