Former St. Louis Ram running back Lawrence Phillips has been given another chance. The Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, has apparently reached an agreement with the former first round pick. There’s just one hurdle they have to clear–Phillips will need special permission to enter the country because of his criminal record. He’s pleaded no conetest twice to assaulting women and was arrested three times in less than two years while a Ram. He even spent 23 days in jail for violating terms of his probation. His last stint in professional football ended when he left training camp of the Florida Bobcats of the Arena League.
