The SMS Bears gave it everything they had, and hopefully the NCAA was paying attention. The Bears lost an eleven-inning heartbreaker yesterday, falling 7-6 to 14th ranked Wichita State in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament finals in Wichita. It dropped SMS to 41-19, which will hopefully mean an at-large bid in the 64-team field of the NCAA Regionals. The selctions will begin at 11:30 this morning.
