J.D. Drew’s 8th inning RBI proved to be the game winner as the Cardinals beat the Astros 5-4 yesterday afternoon. It snapped a 4-4 tie as St. Louis won its major league-leading 18th comeback win of the season. Jim Edmonds drove in two runs. He also hit his 11th homer of the year. Luther Hackman was the winniner in an inning of work. Jason Isringhausen notched his 12th save of the season. The Cards wrapped a 10-game homestand with a 9-1 mark. They travel to Pittsburgh this weekend…..The Royals and Rangers were rained out last night. They’ll make the game up with a double-header on Sunday.
