Interim manager John Mizerock dropped to 0-3 since taking over for fired Royals manager Tony Muser. Kansas City lost 6-2 to Baltimore last night. Starter Paul Byrd allowed four runs off five hits in the loss. He started the season at 4-0 but has lost two straight decisions, both to the Orioles. Tonight, rookie pitcher Jeremy Affeldt gets the start for KC. The 21-year old is 1-0 coming out of the bullpen this season.
