Test votes in the Senate indicate the stadium bill will pass, barely, if it ever gets to a final vote. More than eight hours of debate have produced several proposedchanges – all rejected, but no final vote. Backers of the bill say it’s more than state aid for stadiums and convention centers. They say it has economic development opportunities for communities throughout the state. Another day of debate is scheduled for tomorrow.
