This year’s Missouri Special Olympics Summer Games have been moved to the University of Missouri-Columbia because of the meningitis outbreak at Fort Leonard Wood. The Games will be held May 30th through June 1st. Organizers are asking for about 500 local volunteers to help out. 1,500 athletes and their families expected to travel to Columbia for the Games.
