State officials in Jefferson City are planning a course of action in the wake of the Robert Courtney drug dilution case in Kansas City. Nanci Gonder of the State Health Department says a letter is being sent to 185doctors and medical clinics that might have had patients involved with the pharmacist who watered down drugs. Gonder points out that being on the list is only an indication of doctors or patients being victims of Courtney. The letter is being sent as a precautionary measure. In addition to the notification effort, state agencies are banding together to look for ways of preventing drug tampering from happening in the future.
