A priest who serve at a Catholic student center at Truman State University in Kirksville has been accused of molesting a college student nine years ago. The Reverend Kevin Clohessy is now on leave of absence from the Jefferson City diocese. Clohessy is the younger brother of David Clohessy of St. Louis who has filed a lawsuit against the Jefferson City diocese, alleging that a priest abused him when he was a teen-ager at St. Pius Parish in Moberly. David Clohessy has become an advocate for victims of clergysexual abuse.
