Missouri played its worst game of the NCAA Tournament against UCLA, but still advanced into the Elite Eight with an 82-73 win over the Bruins. Clarence Gilbert scored 23 points–17 in the second half. Kareem Rush added 20 points and 11 rebounds to help Mizzou reach the Regional Finals for the first time since 1994. They’re the first No. 12 seed to reach the final eight. Missouri trailed for much of the game, after a poor start, including 10 first-half turnovers. But they managed to seize the lead at halftime, before falling behind by as many as eight points again in the second half. Matt Barnes led the Bruins with 23 points. The Tigers will take a 24-11 mark into the game against conference rival Oklahoma. The Sooners defeated Missouri by 13 points in Oklahoma earlier this year. Oklahoma reached the Elite Eight by pounding Arizona, 88-67.
