Governor Bob Holden says Missouri farmers are too often hindered by regulations that keep them from being as productive and profitable as possible. So, he’s forming a committee to review the regulations out there affecting agriculture. Holden says state agencies will have to submit certain proposed regulations to the committee for review at least a month before a new rule is filed with the Secretary of State’s office. He says if there is a dispute between committee members on how to proceed with a proposal, the final decision will fall onto his shoulders.
