John Edward Robinson’s murder trial will not move from the Kansas City area. A judge has rejected a request by Robinson’s lawyer to move his trial from Johnson County, Kansas. Federal District Judge John Anderson III says he’s confident Robinson can get a fair trial, despite the publicity the case has generated on both sides of the state line. Robinson is accused of killing women and stuffing their bodies in barrels in both Missouri and Kansas. Missouri authorities hope to try him on charges after Kansasauthorities deal with him.
