Wednesday is decision day on the future of the Kansas City Zoo. The American Zoo and Aquarium Association will hold a hearing Wednesday to decide whether to take away the zoo’s accreditation. It’s been three years since the AZA gave the zoo a conditional accreditation. If the zoo falls off the list, its breeding programs and animal exchange programs will be limited.
