Missourians will be asked in a few weeks to put a big cigarette tax increase on the November ballot. A coalition is going to be circulating petitions, hoping to get 120,000 legal signatures. Senior Vice President Dwight Fine with the Missouri Hospital Association says the coalition has to decide whether the increase will be 50 or 55 cents a pack. The coalition will probably have only about four and a half weeks to get the needed signatures.
