The free agent signing period has offically started and to get ready the Kansas City Chiefs have released linebacker Donnie Edwards to make some room under the salary cap. Edwards gets his walking papers despite leading the team in tackles in each of the last four seasons. The move saves Kansas City about $3.2 million dollars against the salary cap.
