The NHL regular season picked up again last night after teams took two weeks off for the Olympic Break. The return to action meant the beginning of a three-game Canadian road trip for the St. Louis Blues in Vancouver. The Blues led 4-2 late in this one, but the Canucks scored twice over the final six minutes of regulation to earn a 4-4 tie. Bryan Helmer netted the tying goal at the 18:31 mark of the third period for Vancouver. Doug Weight, Mike Eastwood, Dallas Drake and Cory Stillman all scored for St. Louis while Brent Johnson kicked away 20 shots between the pipes. The Blues continue this road trip tomorrow night when they visit Calgary.
