Brad Isbister’s goal halfway through the third period snapped a 3-3 tie and led the New York Islanders to a 4-3 win over the visiting St. Louis Blues last night. It’s a rough loss for the Blues, seeing as how they blew three seperate one-goal leads. Jamal Mayers, Doug Weight and Bryce Salvador scored the St. Louis goals in defeat. The Blues lose despite outshooting the Isles 32-20. Brent Johnson was not at his best between the pipes, making just 16 saves in the loss for St. Louis.
