The Southwest Missouri State Bears beat Indiana State 59-53 on the road in Missouri Valley Conference action. Dano Novak led the Bears with 11 points, Scott Brakebill added eight points and ten rebounds to the SMS cause. The game was tied at the half, but the Bears used a dominant game on the glass to pull away. SMS outrebounded the Sycamores 39-28 in this one. The Bears improve to 10-11 on the season with the win.
