Chalk up another win for the St. Louis Blues — that’s ten straight if you’re counting at home. The latest victim was the Buffalo Sabres last night by the score of 5-2. Buffalo actually scored the first two goals of this game, but then the Blues dropped the hammer scoring five unanswered tallies. Mike Van Ryn scored the middle goal of that run at the 7:31 mark of the second period and that proved to be the game-winner. Brent Johnson made 23 saves between the pipes. With the win, the Blues have moved to within two points of second-place Chicago in the Central Division.
