Scott Mellanby scored a goal and added three assists while Brent Johnson kicked away 22 shots to lead the St. Louis Blues to their seventh straight victory, a 5-4 decision over Vancouver. The Canucks actually led this one 2-0 after one, but the Blues took care of business over the final two periods. Keith Tkachuk added two goals to the St. Louis cause in the win. With the win, St. Louis moves to within five points of second place Chicago in the Central Division.
