An announcement could come in Herculaneum tonight that about 200 children, six years old and younger, and their families will be moved out of harm’s way, temporarily. The St. Louis Post Dispatch says federal officials are preparing the announcement. The newspaper’s source says pregnant women and other high-risk individuals also would be moved. The Doe Run Lead Company has agreed to increased cleanup work, including yards and in contaminated houses.
