The MIAA has named its college basketball players of the week. On the men’s side the honor goes to Missouri Southern guard Eddie Santiago who averaged 19 points and eight assists in two Lion wins. The women’s player of the week also comes from a Missouri Southern squad. Forward Jacquie Rzeszut averaged 24.7 points in three Southern wins last week. It’s the second time this season that Rzeszut has earned the honor.
