House Republican Leader Catherine Hanaway of Warson Woods opposed Governor Bob Holden’s plan, last session, to increase taxes for transportation because, she says, it lacked specifics. That could include a change in the formation of the Transportation Commission and an end the shifting of gas tax revenues to other departments.
