Senator Jean Carnahan is headed to three places thag are bases for the war against terrorism. It’s her first overseas trip as a U.S. Senator. She’ll be in Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. If security allows, she’ll also stop in Afghanistan. Carnahan is being joined by eight other U.S. Senators. Carnahan and five other Senators making the trip are members of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
