The Associated Press named its Female Athlete of the year yesterday, it’s tennis pro Jennifer Capriati. Former Southwest Missouri State women’s basketball star Jackie Stiles finished 11th in the voting. Stiles is currently a standout for the WNBA’s Portland Fire.
