The Southwest Missouri State Bears fell just short in their quest for an upset last night, losing in overtime to Purdue 84-83 at the Las Vegas Classic. SMS picked up 19 points and ten rebounds from Mike Wallace in the loss. The Bears trailed by nine at the half before they rallied to force the extra session. The defeat drops SMS to 4-5 on the season.
