Approximately 350 soldiers from the Missouri National Guard will bolster security at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Utah. The 110th Engineer Battalion will support the activation with 200 soldiers from Kansas City, Macon, and Lexington. Company B, 1140th Engineer Battalion, from Perryville, will be providing 100 soldiers and the 935th Division Aviation Support Battalion from Springfield will support with 50 soldiers. The soldiers will be in Utah from January 25th to February 25th. They’ll support the Utah National Guard and Joint Task Force Olympics.
