A lawsuit launched by Senate Leader Peter Kinder and several other parties, questioning the Constitutionality of Governor Bob Holden’s executive order granting collective bargaining rights to more state workers, has been dismissed by a Circuit Court Judge in Jefferson City. The Attorney General’s Office, acting on behalf of the Governor, had asked that the suit be tossed. Circuit Judge Thomas Brown dismissed the suit, with prejudice. It is now up to Senator Kinder and the other plaintiffs to decide whether to appeal the ruling.
