The wintry weather hitting Missouri is just a taste of what lies ahead. To some people, the snow is beautiful. To others, it’s ugly and just part of a one-two punch that brings with it cold temperatures. It will get colder as the weeks go by. And, the Missouri Insurance Information Service says the cold weather will freeze some people’s water pipes. Frozen pipes will often burst – leading to damaged walls, carpeting, and just about anything else that gets wet. The Service says it’s important to keep indoor temperatures high enough to prevent the pipes from freezing.
