The St. Louis Cardinals have brought back one of their own. Catcher Mike DeFelice, originally a member of the Cardinals, has been brought back as a free agent. The veteran backstop agreed yesterday to a one-year, 800-thousand dollar contract. DeFelice spent last season with Tampa Bay before being traded to the eventual World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks. He is a career .241 hitter.
