Ray Whitney scored with just five seconds remaining in overtime last night to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets past the St. Louis Blues 3-2. Keith Tkachuk had a goal and an assist in defeat for the Blues. Pavol Demitra scored St. Louis’ other goal while Brent Johnson made 26 saves between the pipes. The loss comes in the opener of a five-game road trip for the Blues, which continues tommorrow night in Vancouver.
